Anna Nehrebecka is a renowned Polish actress, whose popularity in the 1970s was brought by such productions as “The Road”, “Polish Roads” and “The Promised Land”. Nowadays, there is much more talk, not about her career, but about her health situation. Anna Nehrebecka is struggling with cancer. In a conversation in “Hello, here polsat” on January 11, she confessed that intuition prompted her to go to the doctor.
Anna Nehrebecka honestly about cancer. This is how she reacted to the diagnosis
Anna Nehrebecka admitted that she did not expect to hear such a diagnosis. She also admitted that she was a bit surprised by the way she found out about it. – I certainly wasn't waiting for such an answer, but the moment I heard it, it was already said very nicely: “we have a guest”. And that's how I treated it, that I had to start working quickly. And I actually had people around me who helped me a lot – Nehrebecka admitted to Polsat. She had already sensed that her body was undergoing a disturbing change. – I was just gratefulI thanked myself for trusting my intuition that something was wrong, that I didn't like something. And I had the courage to just go to the doctor and look for – she added.
Anna Nehrebecka was sent into forced retirement. It was unpleasant
The star has been working at the Polish Theater since 1969. Her departure from the facility was widely discussed in the media because Nehrebecka left the theater in an unfriendly atmosphere. The terms of the contract were breached. – I was sent to retire in the theater, despite the contract guaranteeing me part-time work regardless of age – she told Onet. That's not all. The director of the institution was angry with the actress, i.e Andrzej Seweryn. – Good tradition and customs indicate that the end of such a long cooperation is announced by the director, Andrzej Seweryn. But I don't hold any grudge against him, I didn't argue, it's the natural order of things that at some point actors are thanked for full-time work. Of course, I would still like to stand on stage and take part in such a wonderful spectacle as “Uncle Vanya” directed by Ivan Vyrypaev – said Nehrebecka. She learned about the dismissal from Seweryn's deputy, Marek Szyjka.
