The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw initiated an investigation into the purchase by Daniel Obajek and his partner Paulina Hall of the 187 -meter luxury apartment, for which they were to pay a price by a million zlotys lower than market – reports Onet on Thursday. Four years ago, the prosecutor's office conducting actions in this case refused to initiate an investigation, considering that it lacks deeds bearing the features of a crime.
As the portal adds, after transactions managed in the time PIS Through Obajtek Orlen and Enea (belonging to Orlen), whose proxy was his partner, they were to sponsoring the Benjamin Football Academy Profbud Krosno, associated with the developer who built the Warsaw estate.

Million discount
The purchase of the apartment itself took place in 2018. Obajtek and Sala paid 6.9 thousand PLN per square meter. Although prices at the luxurious Awangarda housing estate in Warsaw Bemowo reached 12,000 PLN 499 – explains ONET. “And this means that they bought an apartment with a nearly million discount” – we read.
As the portal adds, the apartments were also bought on it, among others Member of the Management Board of Orlen Adam Burak and a former PiS politician Adam Hofman.

Refusal to initiate an investigation
The prosecutor's office, conducting activities in this case, refused to initiate an investigation in 2021, considering that it lacks deeds bearing the features of a crime – explains ONET. The case in 2021 was described as the first “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
“The researcher stated that the above decision (refusal to initiate an investigation by prosecutor Czerkawska – editor's note) was clearly unfounded,” said investigators of the National Prosecutor's Office investigating the case, “Onet says.
But although the report on their work was presented only in January this year, as Onet determined – the investigation in this matter has been conducted for 4.5 months. On September 19, 2024, the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw decided to initiate it.
According to Onet's findings, the investigation that has been ongoing for 4.5 months has not yet been questioned or Daniel Obajteknor the president of Profbudu Paweł Malinowski.
“However, this case has been analyzed once again by a special team of investigators,” writes Onet. He adds that according to the spokesman of the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office, Piotr A. Skiba, the investigation is currently being conducted “in the case” and not against specific people.

Obajtek, when asked in 2021 by the media about the purchase of an apartment in Warsaw's Bemowo, replied: “I haven't heard such heresy for a long time”
– apartment bought in 2018 in Bemowo. Prices then oscillated in this area within 7,000. PLN per meter. In addition, everyone who bought a flat knows that sometimes one in the block is a difference of 30-40 percent in the price between apartments. It was a cheaper apartment. For 7 months, the developer could not sell it, due to the direct location at the S8 route, without screens, i.e. exposed to a bang and noise. And hence this amount – he argued.
