A gigantic line of trucks lined the Argentine side of the Christ the Savior Tunnel. Some drivers have been waiting several days to enter Chile. The reason for the difficulties was the closure of the border crossing, caused by a huge snowstorm.

The weather caused a lot of difficulties on the motorway, because on the Argentine side there was a huge queue to enter the other country.

The trucks were covered with a blanket of snow. These are not easy times for drivers, some of whom have been waiting for the border crossing to open for a week.
Local media estimated that around 2,800 vehicles are waiting to leave Argentina. One of the people who want to cross the border is Dariane Loch Bolson, who drives a truck around Brazil on a daily basis. The woman mentioned that she had been waiting for five days to enter Chile and unload her truck. He still doesn’t know when they will be able to move on.
Argentine authorities said that temperatures of -11 degrees Celsius were recorded in the vicinity of the pass.
