Atlanta airport: ‘Unintentional’ gun discharge sends vacationers fleeing, however no energetic shooter, officers say

An “unintentional discharge” of a firearm at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport prompted chaos for travelers on Saturday.

Officers introduced there was not an energetic shooter, after quite a few social media posts indicated that passengers had been evacuating components of America’s busiest airport.

“Officers are working to find out the circumstances surrounding the incident,” Daugherty mentioned.
