According to Alexey Smirnov, acting governor of Kursk Oblast, three civilians died in the attacks within a day. We are talking about a woman who tried to cross the border illegally and two people who were wounded during drone attacks. Earlier, according to Smirnov, Russian border guard units and the military were to prevent incursions into the Sudzha and Korenevo regions of Kursk Oblast.
“The situation in the border area remains difficultbut our defenders are working effectively to destroy the enemy,” we read.
