The coming days will bring cloudy weather and rainfall. There will also be storms accompanied by heavy rainfall and stronger winds. – Further flooding is possible – warns tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Arleta Unton-Pyziołek.

– An area of high pressure stretches from the mid-Atlantic to the coast of North Africa. A low-pressure bay with a wavy cold front, related to the low from the North Sea, is pressed into it – said Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, forecaster for tvnmeteo.pl. She added that the front had entered Poland and was slowly moving from west to east, pushed by polar air masses flowing from the ocean. These masses will include almost the entire country, except the south-eastern regions.

In the following days, Poland will remain in the area of reduced pressure, within the range of low-pressure systems stretching from the North Atlantic, through Central Europe, to the Mediterranean Sea. An atmospheric front is to be stationed over the country, separating the cold polar air flowing from the Atlantic from the warmer air pushing from the south. There will be a lot of cloudy clouds on the wavy front, and there will be occasional rain storms.

– On Saturday and Sunday, a strong rain wave is expected to move over Poland, bringing downpours to the south, east and center of the country. Further flooding is possible, especially in foothill areas, the forecaster warned.
