During the weekend, rain and storms are expected in many areas of the country, which may be severe. A change in the weather is waiting for us at the beginning of next week.
– On the first day of the weekend, an atmospheric low front will move over Central Europe, including northern Poland, with its centre over northern Scandinavia. In the front zone, but also outside it, in the humid and very warm air, storms with downpours and possibly hail – informs tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Tomasz Wasilewski. He adds that “the front, slowly moving and undulating over the center of Europe, will cause the same stormy weather on Sunday as well.”
After the weekend, when the atmospheric front moves beyond our eastern borders, the weather will improve and at the same time it will become colder.
Weather forecast for the weekend
On Saturday, the eastern part of Poland will be sunny all day. In other places, after a sunny morning, cloudiness will gradually increase. We expect rain and storms. The most violent phenomena are predicted in the south of the country and in the Łódź and Świętokrzyskie provinces. There will be about 50 liters of rain per square meter, hail is possible, and wind gusts will accelerate to about 80 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature will be from 24 degrees Celsius in Western Pomerania to 31 degrees Celsius in the center and east of the country. The wind will be weak or moderate, southwest.
On Sunday, the sunny weather will last all day only in the east of the country. In other regions, there will be occasional rain and thunderstorms with downpours and gusty winds. The thermometers will show from 24 degrees Celsius to Gdansk up to 31 degrees Celsius Rzeszow. Light to moderate winds blow from the south-west.

Less rain and no heat
Monday will bring showers mainly in eastern Poland, and local storms with downpours will appear in the Lublin region and Podkarpacie. Apart from that, it will generally be sunny, but it cannot be ruled out that it will rain occasionally. The maximum temperature will reach 22 degrees Celsius in Szczecin up to 28 degrees Celsius in Rzeszów. The wind will be light or moderate, north-westerly.
On Tuesday, sunny and rainless weather is forecast for all of Poland. Thermometers will show from 23°C in the center to 25°C in Pomerania and Podkarpacie. The wind will blow weakly, from variable directions.
On Wednesday, there will be scattered showers in the eastern and northern parts of the country, and storms will also occur in the southeast. The maximum temperature will be from 25°C on the Coast to 29°C in the Subcarpathia. The wind, coming from the southwest, will blow weakly and moderately, only during storms it will be gusty.
