Augustowo. The bullet hit the window. A dangerous incident during exercise

A dangerous incident during Strzelecki training took place on Thursday at a shooting range near Augustowo in the Podlasie Voivodeship. The projectile hit the window of a house about 2 kilometers away. The case is explained by the Military Police.

At the shooting range near Augustowo (Podlasie Voivodeship), around 1pm, soldiers from the 18th reconnaissance regiment from Bialystok had shooting. As Major Sebastian Migocki, the spokesperson of the regiment, told us, during exercise one of the launched bullets damaged the window in a house located about two kilometers from the shooting range.

According to preliminary findings, there was a ricochet after a shot from a machine gun. Nobody was injured in the event.

The case is explained by the Military Police. For All damage caused in connection with the incident wants to pay the army. RMF FM was the first to inform about the case.
