Auschwitz. Three drunk teenagers on the playground. Police: they drank a bottle of vodka

Alarmed by the neighbors, the policemen appeared on the playground in Oświęcim (Małopolskie Voivodeship). There they found three girls aged 14 and 15. According to the police, the teenagers drank 0.7 liters of vodka. One of them had 1.9 per mille of alcohol in the body.

The notification was received by the police from Oświęcim on Saturday (January 7) evening. – According to the report of the reporting person, one of the girls was lying on the ground – said the spokeswoman for the Oświęcim poviat headquarters of Asp. pcs. Małgorzata Jurecka.

Drunk teens on the playground

A police patrol went to the estate. Two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old were found on the playground. “They were under the strong influence of alcohol and felt bad. Together they drank a 0.7 liter bottle of vodka. Uniforms gave them first aid and called an ambulance and parents, Jurecka reported.

The police officer informed that after the tests, the two teenagers were placed in the care of their parents. One of the 14-year-olds was hospitalized for treatment. – Her sobriety test showed 1.9 per mille of alcohol – Jurecka said.

A case in court

The teenagers will be taken care of by the family and juvenile department of the district court in Oświęcim. – A case for counteracting demoralization will be initiated. Separate proceedings will be conducted in order to determine the circumstances in which minors came into possession of alcohol, and whether there was a crime of drunkenness of minors – noted the spokeswoman for the Oświęcim police.

Jurecka reminded that time spent away from home by teenagers sometimes becomes an opportunity to experiment with cigarettes, alcohol or drugs. – In the case of people under the age of 18, such behavior is a sign of demoralization – she stressed.
