A 23-year-old man has died after being buried in sand on an Australian island, police have stated.
Josh Taylor was at a campsite on Bribie Island in Queensland when he fell into a big gap on a seashore and have become trapped on Saturday.
He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital the place he died from his accidents on Thursday, Queensland Police stated.
The drive is investigating the incident and has urged witnesses or anybody who might need footage to come back ahead.
Mr Taylor was with associates on the seashore when he fell into the outlet, which is believed to have been dug to roast a pig in, based on Australian broadcaster ABC.
He was buried within the sand and couldn’t be pulled out for a while, it reported.
Detectives stated “there could also be quite a few individuals who had been current and are but to talk with police”.
The distant campsite is a well-liked vacationer vacation spot, north of Brisbane.
A report is being ready for the coroner, Queensland Police added.
