Two Poles died after falling from the balcony of a staff hotel in Linz, Austria. There was an altercation between the men, and then a fight. The incident happened a week ago.

The tragic event took place on July 7, but it was not until late Thursday evening that the police informed about the accident and the death of Poles. Earlier, on Wednesday, the local prosecutor’s office notified their families in Poland.

According to Austrian media, the men, aged 32 and 46, were under contract for assembly work in Upper Austria. Both spent the evening on the balcony and were probably under the influence of alcohol. An argument broke out between them, which quickly turned into a fight. The men tried to calm down their colleague, but without success.

During the scuffle, the balcony railing broke and they both fell from the second floor, from a height of about eight meters, onto the asphalt surface. They died on the spot.
