On Wednesday, the start of the Axiom-4 mission with Polish astronaut, doctor Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski to the International Space Station (ISS). Departure is planned for 2.31 at night of local time (it will be 8.31 in Poland).
– The last days, although full of surprises, full of emotions, are also full of focus. We are ready, we start counting again. See you in space! – said Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski in an entry published on Tuesday in social media.
Axiom-4 mission
A mission that is to leave the center NASA Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral in Florida, is the fourth commercial flight at Axiom ISS. Astronauci – former astronaut NASA Peggy Whitson (commander), pilot Shubhanshu Shukla from India and specialists scientists Sławosz Ustnański -Wiśniewski and tibor kapu with Hungarian – They will spend up to 14 days to ISS, performing about 60 scientific experiments, including 13 prepared by Polish scientists. The station will fly on board the Crew Dragon capsule, created by SpaceX, for which it will be the first flight into space.
Uznański-Wiśniewski will be the first Polish astronaut at an international space station.
