A spokeswoman for the Płońsk police emphasized that the 61-year-old “showed extreme irresponsibility” because “not only was he driving despite not having a license and was drunk, the five-year-old boy traveling with him, his grandson, had neither a car seat nor a seat belt fastened” . As she explained, after detaining the grandfather, “the child was taken care of by a neighbor until the parents arrived.”
