A 33-year-old soldier of the 7th Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade was charged with exposing two policemen to the loss of life or serious bodily injury during an intervention in one of the houses in Bąków (Pomeranian Voivodeship). The report indicated that a burglary had occurred there. The break-in was ultimately not confirmed. Shots were allegedly fired during the intervention. Anti-terrorists took part in the action.

The charges against the 33-year-old soldier of the 7th Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade were confirmed to us by Mariusz Duszyński from the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk. The man pleaded not guilty and was placed under supervision.

This is about the intervention that took place on Friday in one of the houses in Bąków. The suspect allegedly threatened two policemen with loss of life or serious bodily harm. The allegations were first reported by trojmiasto.pl.

We received the first information about the incident on Friday Contact24. At first, the services did not inform about the case. As it turned out, the incident took place in a semi-detached house at Wieczornych Mgieł Street.

– Before noon, the District Police Headquarters in Pruszcz Gdański received a report about a probable burglary. Police officers with the participation of anti-terrorists carried out activities on site. Information about the burglary has not been confirmed – said later junior aspirant Karol Kościuk from the District Police Headquarters in Pruszcz Gdański.

As established by an RFM FM reporter, the action was carried out in the house of a soldier of the 7th Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade. The officers allegedly heard shots. After a while, a man was said to have come out and said that he had killed two people in the house – but the police did not confirm this. The man was allegedly under the influence of drugs.

WOT: zero tolerance

“On Friday, December 13, after the intervention of the Police in the town of Bąkowo, a soldier performing territorial military service in the 72nd light infantry battalion of the 7th Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade was detained,” they later confirmed Territorial Defense Forces.

They added that the arrest did not take place while on duty. The case is being investigated by the Military Police Department in Gdynia.

This means that we do not accept drinking alcohol, taking drugs or other intoxicating substances, or being under the influence of the above while on duty. We also do not tolerate committing crimes or BEHAVIOR UNWORTHY OF A SOLDIER of the Polish Army. when the soldier is not on the premises of a military unit. This applies to all – both professional soldiers and those performing territorial military service,” we read.
