Ban on export of medicines. New list

The Ministry of Health has published a new announcement on the list of medicines prohibited from being exported abroad. These include medicinal products, medical devices and foodstuffs for special purposes at risk of lack of availability. The list, which will be effective from April 12, includes 228 items.

The so-called anti-export list includes medicines, certain food products and medical devices that may become scarce products, which is why special regulations are needed.

Anti-export list – what products

The current list includes, among others: insulin – e.g. Abasaglar, Actrapid Penfill, Apidra, Fiasp, Gensulin M30 (30/70), Gensulin M40 (40/60), Gensulin M50 (50/50), Gensulin N, Gensulin R, Humalog, Humalog Mix 25, Humalog Mix 50, Humulin M3 (30/70), Humulin N, Humulin R, Insulatard Penfill, Insulin aspart Sanofi, Insulin lispro Sanofi, Insuman Basal, Lantus, Levemir, Liprolog, Liprolog Junior KwikPen, Liprolog KwikPen, Mixtard 30 Penfill, Mixtard 50 Penfill , NovoMix 30 Penfill, NovoMix 50 Penfill, NovoRapid, NovoRapid Penfill, Polhumin MIX-2, Polhumin MIX-3, Polhumin MIX-4, Polhumin MIX-5, Polhumin N, Polhumin R, Ryzodeg, Suliqua, Toujeo and Tresiba.

The list also includes, for example: agents used in children in the milk replacer elimination diet, among others Nutramigen 1 LGG, Nutramigen 2 LGG, Nutramigen 3 LGG, Nutramigen PURAMINO and Nutramigen PURAMINO JUNIOR.

The list also includes, among others: nebulization solution Berodual, used to treat diabetes Ozempic i antipsychotic drug Zypadhera.

The list also includes, for example, Concerta used in treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ADHD and Atenza, a central nervous system stimulant.

The list also includes Hydroxyurea medac, which is used for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia in the chronic or accelerated phase and for the treatment of essential thrombocythemia or polycythemia vera with a high risk of thromboembolic complications.

The new list is to be effective from April 12, 2024. Medicines, products and foodstuffs included in the list cannot be exported abroad.
