For a year, the opposition said that we were unable to send Ukrainian grain abroad. What’s more, PiS also knew it. And they did nothing about it – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm from the Left, on TVN24. In his opinion, the rulers “now will go over dead bodies to save the situation and will not take anything or anyone into account.”

He spoke about the ban introduced by the government on Monday in “Rozmowo Piaseckiego” Vladimir Czarzasty, deputy speaker of the Sejm from the Left. – This has been going on for a year. Regardless of who was the first, who was the second, who was the third, but at the time when the tariffs were lifted, it was already necessary to talk to the European Union and show what the realities are in Poland – he said. According to Czarzasty, “it was known that we were unable to send this (grain – ed.) abroad, because the ports were not prepared for it.” – It was known that we were able to ship 700,000 tons a month, and at the moment we have seven million tons in silos. It was known that the harvest would come, that we were not able to transport it – he enumerated. The opposition has been saying that for a year. Moreover, in PiS they knew it too. And they did nothing about it – indicated the TVN24 guest. Now, he added, “PiS had no choice.” – The problem is that if our position in the European Union, the state of talks with the European Union were different, someone would go earlier and say: “Listen, we didn’t make it, you have to help us”. They didn’t. Now they will go over the dead to save the day. They will not reckon with anything and anyone. We’ll see what the effect will be,” said Czarzasty.
