Bank Pocztowy merged with EnveloBank

The merger of the Bank Pocztowy and EnveloBank brands has been completed – it was announced in the Wednesday’s announcement. All clients were also migrated to common internet and mobile banking.

EnveloBank made its debut on the market in 2017. It was a digital brand of Bank Pocztowy, which offered, inter alia, free withdrawals from all ATMs in Poland and free currency conversion for card payments abroad. In March this year. the EnveloBank brand disappeared from the market.

On Wednesday, Bank Pocztowy announced the completion of the brand merger process.

“The process of merging the brands of Bank Pocztowy and EnveloBank has just finished, as well as the migration of customers to the new shared banking, which has been ongoing since March this year,” – stated in the release.

Marcin Ledworowski, member of the Management Board of Bank Pocztowy, responsible for the Business and IT Area, indicated in the announcement that the purpose of merging the brands into one “was the technological transformation of the bank – creating modern and advanced digital banking in a functional and attractive form”. “Our priority is invariably the introduction of postal banking into the twenty-first century – achieving the synergy effect by combining traditional financial services with the latest technological solutions” – added Ledworowski.

On the last day of November this year. The process of migration of all customers of Bank Pocztowy and existing customers of EnveloBank to the joint Internet banking Pocztowy24 and the Pocztowy mobile application has been completed. “All solutions used so far by the customers of both brands are now available under one roof” – reads the release. Bank Pocztowy – as we read on its website – has over 850 thousand. customers.

This is not the only change – the migration of customers that has taken place on the Polish banking market in recent weeks. In November this year. Bank Pekao transferred the data and products of Idea Bank’s customers to their operating systems. The changes concerned about 270,000 clients of the former Idea Bank.
