The mayor of the city and commune of Bardo appealed to follow the announcements and listen to the orders of the services. The water level in Nysa Kłodzka in the next dozen or so hours may reach up to seven meters.
On Saturday, Marta Ptasińska, mayor of the city and commune of Bardo, addressed an appeal to the residents of the streets adjacent to the Nysa Kłodzka River.
“Flood threat forecasts are very bad – according to some, water could reach a height of up to seven meters in the next dozen or so hours. We recommend moving equipment to higher floors and preparing for evacuation,” we read in the announcement.
The alarm level at this measuring station is 250 centimeters. Currently, the water level is 320 centimeters, and according to IMGW forecasts – tomorrow it could be 512 cm, and the day after tomorrow as much as 659.
The mayor asked people to follow announcements and listen to the services’ instructions.
“We ask you to remain calm and follow the orders of the services. We deeply hope that our actions are just a precaution and the forecasts will not come true, but we kindly ask you to take this message very seriously,” she added.
