The BBC has expressed “deep remorse” for shedding the garments of “Babes within the Wooden” homicide sufferer Karen Hadaway.

Karen’s mom, Michelle Hadaway, had given her daughter’s garments to reporter Martin Bashir in 1999 to have them DNA examined by the BBC as a part of investigations for the Public Eye programme.
