The text of the decree signed by the Minsk satrap was published on the official website of the presidential office. As stated, the whole thing concerns “changes in service in internal organs” and is a supplement to the existing regulations and acts in the field of “combating corruption”, “public service”, as well as population registration”.
“The changes are aimed at increasing the efficiency of filling positions in internal affairs bodiesimproving the legal and social protection of employees,” it was written.
One of the main elements of the decree is to prevent people who have or will acquire dual citizenship. The provision also applies to people who already perform such functions, in which case the acceptance of another passport will mean automatic exemption.
What is worth emphasizing in the decree no exception was mentioned for citizenship of the Russian Federation.

The document also refers to the following: changes in the age of peoplewho plan to serve in institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
From the moment the document enters into force, will be accepted for service from the age of 28and not 25 as before. At the same time, the age is also changing retirement age, which will now be 48 years.
At the same time, the Belarusian dictator introduced a provision regarding “creation of military-patriotic clubswhich will contribute to the development of patriotic education of youth”. Their activities are to be controlled by a special body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
