Belarus. Independent media: Hundreds of Russian soldiers reached Orsha or Vitebsk

About 800 Russian soldiers arrived in Belarus on the night from Thursday to Friday, the independent Belarusian Hajun channel reported on Friday on Telegram, citing information provided by the Belarusian railways. As it was added, the military could come to Orsha or Vitebsk.

Railway workers informed about a special train with 15 passenger cars, which, while driving through Smolensk in the west Russia was headed for Belarus. “At night, the echelon could have arrived in Orsha or Vitebsk. There are reports that personnel of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, numbering about 800 people, were traveling in the wagons,” Belaruski Hajun reported.

According to this source, it cannot be ruled out that after a stopover in the Vitebsk region, the wagons with the military men were directed west, to the Brest region. This region, located in the west of Belarus, is adjacent to Poland.

As the Belaruski Hajun channel on Telegram pointed out, rail transports with Russian military equipment arrived earlier in the Baranovichi region in the Brest region. At the training ground near Baranowicze, Russian troops are stationed, which are part of the grouping of Russian and Belarusian troops. On Friday, the training ground was visited by the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.
