Belgium’s Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder announced that her country would continue to support Ukraine with military equipment. The head of the Ministry of Defense informed the parliament the day before that Belgian support for the attacked country had so far amounted to around 90 million euros.
We will continue to support Kyiv by supplying, among other things, heavy machine guns, Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder declared on Friday. “We will hand over heavy machine guns, and we are also exploring the possibilities of delivering anti-aircraft and anti-tank ammunition,” she said during a meeting in Ramstein.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also provided information that since February 24 last year, Belgium has transferred various types of weapons to Ukraine. Among them were assault rifles, heavy machine guns, rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles and ammunition.
