By the decision of the jury of the Berlinale Main Competition 2025, the Best Film Award – Golden Bear – went to the movie “Drømmer” directed by Daga Johan Haugerud. Silver bears were also awarded, among others, the films “O último Azul” and “El Mensaje”.
The jubilee 75th edition of the International Festival will last one more day, while on Saturday evening the closing ceremony took place. During the gala, the main competition prizes were awarded.
The jury led by Todd Haynes awarded the Golden Bear – the award for the best film – “Drømmer” directed by Daga Johan Haugerud. This is the first Norwegian film awarded with the most important award of the Berlin Main Competition.
The second largest prize of the Silver Niedźwiedzia Festival – the jury was awarded to “O último Azul” directed by Gabriel Mascaro. The Silver Bear – the jury award was appreciated by the Argentine -Spanish film “El Mensaje” directed by Iván Funda.
