Beverly Hills SWAT standoff with suspicious van blocking visitors ends after a number of hours

A police standoff in Beverly Hills, California, ended shortly earlier than midnight Saturday with SWAT officers eradicating an unresponsive man from a van that had been blocking a busy intersection for a number of hours, in response to studies.

Police mentioned officers had responded to a report of a van inflicting a visitors hazard within the space. 

Responding officers tried to make contact with the motive force, who finally stopped on the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, a swanky purchasing space common with vacationers. The driving force was quickly surrounded by police vehicles.

Not less than one individual was contained in the van, which appeared to have its home windows lined with aluminum foil, the Beverly Hills police mentioned.

Officers shot on the van’s home windows and used a robotic and drone in the course of the standoff whereas attempting to get the motive force to exit the car, KNBC-TV of Los Angeles reported. It wasn’t clear what occurred to the motive force.

Police closed off Wilshire between Beverly Drive and Camden Drive in the course of the standoff. The realm would have been busy with Black Friday weekend customers.
