An 18-year-old has been charged with murder. The victim was a man in a homeless crisis in Biała Podlaska (Lubelskie Province). “The teenager's aggression was caused by words spoken by the 51-year-old,” the police said, without disclosing further details. The court arrested the teenager for three months. He faces a life sentence.

The body of a 51-year-old man was found last Thursday (July 4) in the morning in a park on Parkowa Street in Biała Podlaska. An 18-year-old man was detained in the case on suspicion of causing the death of a person in a homeless crisis.

The spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, Agnieszka Kępka, announced on Monday that investigators had charged Cezary K. with murder with eventual intent. “This means that he did not want to kill, but at least he accepted that he would cause death,” she explained.

Initial findings indicate that the boy beat and kicked the victim in the head and torso. In the prosecutor's office, he admitted to causing the injuries, but not to murder. He gave statements that investigators are not revealing. “We will establish the detailed course of events. We are waiting for the opinion of a forensic medicine expert to find out the exact cause of the man's death,” the spokeswoman added.
