Police officers from Białoborz stopped a driver who was driving under the influence of drugs. The officers were attacked by a passenger who was carrying drugs. Both have been detained and will answer to court for their actions.
Police officers from Biały Bór were informed that one of the city's residents had drugs. During the patrol, they noticed him in the car and stopped the driver for inspection. A drug test confirmed that the 33-year-old was driving under the influence of drugs. The officers wanted to check whether the 40-year-old passenger had any drugs on him, but they were attacked.
“The man pushed one of the policemen away, trying to escape. During the intervention, he pulled and hit the police officers and tried to force them to refrain from arresting them,” we read in the release.
Both men were detained.
Mephedrone and marijuana were found
Narcotic drugs were found in the 40-year-old's jacket, and over 25 grams of mephedrone and almost 20 grams of marijuana in the car. The man has already been charged with violating the bodily integrity of police officers and possessing drugs. He faces up to three years in prison.
The 33-year-old will be charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
