Bialystok. A 37-year-old Belarusian is dead. His body was fished out of the lagoon

Firefighters fished out the body of a 37-year-old citizen of Belarus from the reservoir in Dojlidy in Białystok. His belongings, including documents, were lying on the pier by the unguarded beach. Bystanders noticed them. The police explain what happened.

On Wednesday (July 12), around 3:30 p.m., the police received a report from bystanders who noticed someone’s belongings on the pier next to the unguarded beach by the reservoir in Dojlidy.

– These included documents, clothes and a bicycle. The circumstances indicated that they could have been left by a person who went to take a bath – says Staff Sergeant Malwina Trochimczuk from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bialystok.

The body has been dissected

Firemen called to the scene fished out the body of a 37-year-old Belarusian citizen from the water.

– We’re working out the details of the event. The body was, by the prosecutor’s decision, transferred to the autopsy, the policewoman points out.

This is not the first such case this year

This is another event of this type in Dojlidy this summer. In mid-June, we wrote about the 47-year-oldwhose body was also found near an unguarded beach.

The services were notified by anglers who noticed clothes left on the shore of the lagoon on Friday evening.
