On Monday, February 5, the “Great Toy Exchange” will take place at the Epi-Centrum Nauki in Białystok. Everyone will be able to return their toys or exchange them for others. All this so as not to throw them away. Those that remain after the action will be donated, among others, to the Masovian Neuropsychiatry Center in Zagórz. The campaign is supported by the editorial office of “Dzień Dobry TVN”.
There are many children who do not have toys at all, or have very few of them – our campaign is just for them. Instead of buying more things, which will eventually suffer the fate of the existing ones, it is worth enabling children to exchange them – explain the organizers.
On Monday (February 5) at the stadium at ul. Słoneczna 1 Epi-Centrum Nauki in Białystok will host the “Great Toy Exchange”, in which the editorial office of “Dzień Dobry TVN” was involved.
You can bring blocks, mascots and roller skates
The campaign aims to draw attention to progressive consumerism, i.e. excessive emphasis on material goods. Why throw away toys that have been forgotten in the corner for years when you can give them away or exchange them for others?
To take part in the action, all you need to do is on Monday between… 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. bring toys to the Epi-Centrum Nauki. You can bring blocks, books, stuffed animals, cars, dolls, games, sleds, roller skates, scooters, etc.
The toys that will be donated include: neuropsychiatry center
There will also be special guests at the “Great Toy Exchange”. They will be: Przemysław Saleta, Majka Jeżowska, Monika Dryl and Joanna Sydor.
– We will donate the toys left after the campaign to, among others, the Masovian Neuropsychiatry Center in Zagórze – the organizers assure.
