The police detained a 38-year-old man who ate food products taken from the shelves in one of the stores in Białystok and later lit a marijuana pipe. The saleswoman then locked him in the store and notified the police. When they arrived, he had a smoked gun in his hand and marijuana in his pocket.

The police received a report about an aggressive customer in a store in the Piasta housing estate in Białystok. On site, the saleswoman told the uniformed officers that a man had entered the store and started eating various food products, and after a while he was packing more into his backpack.

“The tide went wrong when he lit a pipe of marijuana” – we read in a message on the website of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Białystok

She locked him in the store

When the saleswoman noticed him, the man began to be aggressive towards her.

She then left the store, locked the aggressor inside, and notified the police.

He faces up to three years in prison

The problematic customer turned out to be a 38-year-old resident of Białystok. When the officers entered the store, he had a fired gun in his hand. In his pocket he had foil containing dried plants.

“A drug test showed that it was marijuana. The 38-year-old was arrested and taken into police custody,” the statement reads.

The 38-year-old will now be held accountable for his shop activities and drug possession. He faces up to three years in prison.
