A 37-year-old woman who was hit at a pedestrian crossing in Białystok late in the evening has died. The police are investigating the causes of the accident. Blood was taken from the driver of the Peugeot passenger car for testing.
The tragedy occurred on Thursday (November 23) around 22 on ul. Świętokrzyska in Białystok.
A 49-year-old driver of a Peugeot passenger car hit a 37-year-old woman on a crossing.
They took his blood for alcohol testing
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died on the spot.
– The man’s blood was taken for alcohol testing. Police officers worked on site under the supervision of the prosecutor, says junior trainee Malwina Trochimczuk from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Białystok.
The officers are establishing the details of the incident.
