Biedronka published a communication from Carlsberg Polska on its website regarding the withdrawal of three batches of beer from the market. The reason is the wrong label on the products.
As indicated in the press release, the reason for the beer recall is “improper labeling of the beer with the main label”. “The beer was labeled with non-alcoholic beer (Carlsberg 0.0%), instead of the alcohol label – Carlsberg Lager” – we read.
Carlsberg – beers withdrawn from the market
Therefore, on Wednesday, Carlsberg Polska decided to withdraw Carlsberg beer in 500 ml bottles with batch numbers and minimum durability dates from the market:
– LPL03L / 215, 4/30/22 10:14,
– LPL03L / 215, 4/30/22 10:15 AM,
– LPL03L / 215, 4/30/22 10:16.
According to the company, “the above defect occurred due to a production line error”. “As a result of a detailed analysis and monitoring verification, we confirmed that the defect concerns 1,300 bottles of beer” – it was reported.
At the same time, Carlsberg Polska announced that the counter label on the bottles (back label) and the collective packaging (carton) in which the beer is packed are marked correctly.
The company informed that consumers who have purchased one of the above-mentioned beers are asked to contact the Carlsberg Polska hotline in order to arrange the replacement or return of the defective product. Consumers are also entitled to return the product to the store where they made the purchase, the company said in a press release.
