Pensioner poverty is a problem: The Deputy Speaker of the Senate emphasized that Poland should also strive to ensure that retired people do not have to work additionally, because currently – as she pointed out – the biggest problem is pensioner povertyespecially seniors. – Retired women are twice as likely to live in poverty than retired men – Biejat emphasized, calling for a serious discussion on the functioning of men and women on the labor market.
