Fire in the attic of a multi-family building in Bielawa (Lower Silesia). A total of a dozen people were evacuated, four people needed medical help, one of them was taken to hospital.
On Wednesday, January 24, around 6:30 p.m., the fire brigade received information about a fire in the attic of a multi-family building in Bielawa at Bolesława Chrobrego Street. A total of 14 fire brigades were on site.
– A total of a dozen people were evacuated, one of them was taken to hospital. Four people needed medical help, but their injuries were not serious and required hospitalization. One of the firefighters also suffered an injury, but after being treated by rescuers, he returned to action, said Junior Asp. Leszek Paziński, press officer of the State Fire Service in Dzierżoniów.
The action was difficult due to the wind
Support services were on site. As the fire brigade adds, the operation was difficult due to weather conditions, there was a strong wind. The fire brigade operations ended before midnight.
