Billions from KPO will flow to Poland
On Monday, the Commission issued a positive opinion on the second and third decisions application from Poland for payment of money. Brussels gave the green light for further procedures. Last week, a Brussels correspondent reported that the money was getting closer Polish Radio Beata PÅ‚omecka, when the Commission's procedure for approving applications began.
Now the commissioners' assessment will be forwarded to member states for approval. This will be dealt with first by experts from the EU Economic Policy Committee, then from the Financial and Economic Committee. Efforts are underway to finalize all procedures in just over a month, because this will mean that the money will flow to Poland this year, and possibly even before Christmas.
