The head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, reacted to the reports on groups opposing epidemic restrictions and preventive vaccinations against coronavirus. According to media reports, some of these people wear military uniforms. “Anti-vaccine terrorists cannot pretend to be soldiers of the Polish Army,” said Błaszczak.
This week, journalists from “Gazeta Wyborcza” in Poznań described associations opposing the restrictions related to the COVID-19 epidemic. They are reported to be civilian organizations, yet their members “are in full uniform.” Polish army“.
These reports were commented on on Thursday by the leader of the Civic Platform Donald Tusk. – Groups of people in military uniform, without any authorization, attack vaccination points, gather, form some organizations. This is reminiscent of the worst moments, for example, from the times of the Ukrainian revolution and the situation in Belarus – he said.
At the same time, he addressed PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński: – Jarosław, go out to the people and say what you are going to do about it as the deputy prime minister responsible for security.

Błaszczak: there will be sanctions
The defense minister referred to the publication of the journal Mariusz Błaszczak.
“Anti-vaccine terrorists cannot pretend to be soldiers of the Polish Army. We have completed work on regulations that will clearly prohibit uniforms from wearing by such groups and introduce sanctions” – he wrote. He announced that the regulation in this matter was directed to “interministerial consultations”.
