It cannot be that prominent activists are carried around in litters. Working there is a health and life hazard. Both him and the miners – said Marta Wcisło from the Civic Coalition about the engagement of Michał Moskal, a PiS politician. This close associate of Jarosław Kaczyński was to ask for his hand in the Bogdanka mine in Lublin, 960 meters underground. – I treat it as a kind of support for hard coal. It should be appreciated that he chose a hard coal mine – said Janusz Kowalski from Solidarna Polska.

Miners from the Lublin Bogdanka mine inform that At the end of December, the engagement took place underground, Michał Moska declaredl, a young Law and Justice politician, one of his closest collaborators Jarosław Kaczyński. Marta Wcisło, MP from Lublin, asked the Minister of State Assets in an interpellation Jacek Sasin. – Miners have been informing for a long time that things are very bad at the Bogdanka mine, that procedures and regulations are not followed. Two miners died within a few months. Not because of geological reasons, but because of negligence, she said.

– But how can it be otherwise, since there is no miner in the management of the mine and the management uses the property of the mine for private events such as the engagement of a prominent activist, which took place on December 30 in the morning at a depth of 960 meters – added the MP.

She stressed that “it cannot be – as the miners say – that prominent activists are carried in litters”. – Who is Mr. Moskal, that he descends 960 meters and can get engaged there? Working there is a health and life hazard. Both him and the miners – she emphasized.

However, he said that he himself comes from Wieliczka, where there is a salt mine. – Various events are organized in the salt mine in Wieliczka, there are banquets, weddings, probably also engagements, there were masses – he said. The Wieliczka Mine is a historic monument, an attraction visited annually by over a million tourists. It has not been mining since 1996.

Bochenek added that “if everything is done in accordance with the procedures, no safety regulations have been broken, it is allowed by the regulations of these places, then such events are possible.”

Kowalski: I treat it as support for hard coal

Janusz Kowalski, a Solidarna Polska politician and former deputy minister of state assets, stated that “if (Moskal – ed.) he did it transparently, in accordance with the security rules, it’s a great idea to get engaged.” – I treat it as a kind of support for hard coal – he added.

– Young people get engaged in stadiums, in the subway, in various places. If you can confess your love, that’s fantastic news. Provided that all procedures are followed, he repeated.

He added that he perceived it as a symbol that the Muscovite had chosen the mine. – As a supporter of Polish coal, I believe that it is a symbol of the fact that he defends Polish coal, defends Bogdanka. I mean it very seriously. It should be appreciated that he chose a hard coal mine, which is so spit on by representatives of the total opposition. Great respect,” Kowalski said.

Trela: this is turned on its head

Tomasz Trela from the Left said that “if Mr. Moskal promotes coal in such a way, he could take two buckets of coal, put it in front of his chosen one, ask for her hand.” – There would be no ridicule, there would be no risk of miners’ lives being at risk, there would be no such debauchery of power – he said.

– I do not know what they have in PiS’s mind, that when the term of office ends, the power probably ends, they will do everything – go to the mine, enter, get engaged, divorce. This is turned on its head – assessed Trela.
