As NN – because his identity has not been established – a black man, whose body was found in October in the Kuźnica commune (Podlaskie Voivodeship), was buried on Thursday. He was buried in the Muslim cemetery in Bohoniki. A few days earlier, on Monday, at the same necropolis, the funeral of a 19-year-old Syrian who drowned in the border river Bug took place.

On Thursday, a man was buried at the Mizarze (Muslim cemetery) in Bohoniki, whose body was found on October 22 in the Kuźnica commune. – His identity has not been established – tells us Wojciech Piktel, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Suwałki.

– We only know that this dark-skinned man was about 30 years old – adds Maciej Szczęsnowicz, chairman of the Board of the Bohoniki Muslim Religious Community in an interview with tvn24.pl.

The deceased was about 30 years old. He was buried in the cemetery in BohonikiTVN24

A 19-year-old Syrian also rested on mizarze on Monday

It was the second such funeral at the Bohoniki cemetery. On Monday (November 15), Ahmad al-Hasan, a 19-year-old Syrian, was buried herewhose body was fished on October 20 from the border river Bug.


His search began after the Border Guard detained a 22-year-old Syrian who stated that he was accompanied by another man while crossing the Bug.
