A missing 63-year-old resident of a nursing home in Bończa (Lublin Voivodeship) has been found in Geneva, Switzerland. According to the police, there is no threat to the man’s life or health.
On Tuesday (October 10), police officers from the police headquarters in Krasnystaw received a report about the disappearance of a 63-year-old resident of the Social Welfare Home in Bończa. The officers immediately began searching for the man.
The resident left the facility on September 25. “The police’s findings showed that he was in Warsaw, Zakopane and outside the Polish border in Austria. Moreover, it was determined that he may still be outside the Polish border,” said Senior Sergeant Anna Chuszcza, press officer at the District Police Headquarters in Krasnystaw.
He found his way in Geneva
As it turned out, the man was staying in Geneva in… Switzerland. Over 1,800 kilometers from Bończa. – He was identified there – Chuszcza told us. She added that his health and life were not in danger.
