Mateusz Morawiecki “uses information that is inaccessible to people” and “they are getting rich in the crisis”, said Beata Maciejewska, MP from the Left, on Tuesday. – There are a lot of things that should be explained in relation to the prime minister, who should be like Caesar’s wife, – said Katarzyna Lubnauer from the Civic Coalition. The opposition is asking about the Prime Minister’s bonds, worth more than 4.6 million zlotys, purchased in 2021, about which he himself does not want to comment.
Mateusz Morawiecki – as it follows from the prime minister’s asset declarations – last year, it bought treasury bonds for over PLN 4.6 million. His law firm, when asked about these issues by tvn24.pl, does not want to disclose any details. Morawiecki himself did not answer the questions of the TVN24 reporter.
The prime minister used “information that is unavailable to people”
TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit asked politicians at Wiejska Street about the information deficit regarding the prime minister’s bonds.
– The point is that when Polish women and Poles are wondering what to buy gasoline, bread for, whether to pay for drugs or heating, Prime Minister Morawiecki gets rich in the crisis, uses information that is unavailable to people – commented the MP from Lewica , Beata Maciejewska.
According to her, Morawiecki should say: “Polish women, Poles, buy bonds as I do”. – Did such words come out? Never, she said.
Katarzyna Lubnauer (KO) reminded about other unknowns related to the prime minister. She also suggested that the prime minister was “ashamed of being rich”. – Many Poles would be very curious how he got from this property. What he got from the bank (Morawiecki was the president of Bank Zachodni WBK – ed.) Was twenty several million zlotys. We all know that – she reminded. – But the problem is the plots, how many plots he has, when they were bought, when they were sold, under what conditions, what tax he paid – she mentioned, referring to doubts around the sale of the plot of the prime minister’s wife for almost 15 million.
“There are a lot of things that should be explained in relation to the prime minister, who should be like Caesar’s wife,” she summed up.
Cymański: it is used by the prime minister’s greatest enemies
Tadeusz Cymański from Solidarna Polska, a coalition partner of PiS, when asked if the prime minister had problems with transparency, said that it was a question “to the expectations of his greatest enemies who use this thing and know that wealth in our country, after so many years of communism, will never is not best seen. ” “And people who have enormous wealth are not idolized, they are not favorites,” he added.
– It is in the political interest of the opposition to show how rich the prime minister is. I say it in plain text, ‘he said.
