In Borkowice, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, a train collided with a passenger car. One person was killed, the press officer of the KMP in Koszalin informed.

On Wednesday, around 9 pm, at an unguarded railway crossing in Borkowice – Miłogoszcz station (Koszalin poviat), a train collided with a car traveling with a family of 6 from German.

– The man, probably the driver of the car, was resuscitated. Unfortunately, to no avail. He died at the scene of the accident, informed the press officer of the KMP in Koszalin, nadkom. Monika Kosic.

Four children and a woman were taken to the hospital. There were about 100 passengers on the train, Kosiec said. Nobody was injured.

Train traffic has been stopped. The services, including the police under the supervision of the prosecutor, are working on the spot.
