Both Donald Trump and Andrzej Duda are very happy after the meeting. “My wonderful friend”

It was not too long, but with a powerful genre weight, because it took place when negotiations on the end of the Russian war in Ukraine were ongoing. It is important that at this moment Donald Trump heard a Polish voice on Russia and Ukraine.

Let us remind you that at this moment the United States makes help to Ukraine dependent on access to Ukrainian natural resources. President Andrzej Duda told TVN “facts” that it could be a “clever” plan to combine economic guarantees with security guarantees.

– For me, the most important thing is for this war to end in a fair room, which will last, because that's what Poles and me as president. The last one means that the war will not come back and Russia will not attack anyone anymore. This is the most important thing for me and I told the President of the United States – said President Andrzej Duda.

In the evening in the White House, during the Governors gala, Donald Trump was asked about a meeting with the President of Poland.

– Very good, wonderful. He is a fantastic guest. My wonderful friend and Poland (he is also a friend – editor's note). The meeting was great, it could not be better – said the President of the United States Donald Trump.

It is worth recalling that also on Monday in New York Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski will give two speeches – one at the UN General Assembly session and the other during the Security Council meeting. There he will also speak on behalf of the European Union. Both of these sessions take place in connection with the anniversary of the Russian assault to Ukraine.
