At the roundabout under the S8 route, at the height of Marek in the Wołomin poviat, a policeman riding a motorcycle lost his balance and fell over. He was taken to the hospital.
As reported by tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz, the incident took place at the roundabout under the S8 route in Marki, at the height of Księdza Antiego Poławskiego Street.
It was confirmed by Tomasz Sitek from the police from Wołomin: – We received the report at 12.20. A policeman on a service motorcycle was going to the site. As he turned around the roundabout, he skidded and capsized. The cause was probably an oil stain on the road – said Sitek. – The policeman was taken to hospital with leg injuries, but he was not seriously injured. He was sober – he added.
He also concluded that there were no major traffic difficulties at the scene of the accident.
