The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, are explaining the circumstances of the accident in Bratoszewice (Łódź Voivodeship). The 32-year-old’s car – for reasons still unknown – fell out of the way and hit two roadside trees. The impact force was so great that the car was torn into several parts. The man was killed instantly.
The incident took place on Wednesday at the intersection of Łódzka and Szkolna streets in Bratoszewice. – The driver of the Opel, driving towards Głowno, drove straight at the intersection, and then on Szkolna Street, for unknown reasons, turned to the left side of the road and hit the trees – reports Robert Borowski from the Zgierz police. And he adds that the man died on the spot.
Fire department: car torn apart like a canned food
Three fire brigades intervened on the spot. – What the firefighters saw on the spot was, first of all, a badly damaged car, torn apart like a tin. The injured person was about 30 meters from the vehicle – says Jędrzej Pawlak, spokesman for the provincial fire brigade in Łódź.
