New customs tariffs

Donald Trump signed a regulation on Monday on the introduction of 25 % duties on imported aluminum and steel regardless of the country of origin. At the same time, the US President pointed out that they will apply “without exceptions and exclusions” and will cover “all countries”. The new customs tariffs are to come into force on March 12.

Brazil is one of the countries that will suffer the greatest losses in this respect.
