Bridgerton Prequel Trailer Reveals Most Excessive-Stakes Love But

It is time for a royal awakening. 

Within the March 23 trailer for Netflix’s Bridgerton prequel collection Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Charlotte (India Amarteifio) is confused about why she, of all folks, has been chosen to ascend to the throne.

“There’s cause they wished me,” she asks her brother Adolphus (Tunji Kasim). “Why me?” 

Adolphus makes an attempt to be real looking concerning the state of affairs, telling his sister, “Charlotte, there are worse fates than marrying the King of England.”

We would not be so certain, Adolphus.

“It’s time we have been united as a society,” Princess Augusta (Michelle Fairley) tells her soon-to-be daughter-in-law. “You’ll make infants. As many infants as potential for my son.”

She’s not losing any time. 

After Charlotte and King George (Corey Mylchreest) have a really awkward introduction—by which she is caught, fairly actually, attempting to climb up on a backyard wall to get a glimpse of him—George remains to be persistent about spending time together with her.

“I notice you don’t have any cause to love me,” George tells Charlotte. “But when you’ll give me one night of your time, it’d make you hate me a little bit bit much less.”
