Nice Britain boxer Ben Whittaker expressed his heartbreak after attaining the silver medal on the Tokyo Olympics whereas shedding to Cuba’s Arlen Lopez within the gold-medal light-weight bout.

Whittaker was criticized for not placing the silver medal round his neck after the bout Wednesday however defined to BBC Sport he didn’t come to the Olympics to complete in second place.

“You do not win silver, you lose gold. I’m very dissatisfied with myself I didn’t carry out good,” Whittaker stated.
