In connection with the premiere of a documentary about British Prince William's activities in the fight against homelessness, previously unknown photos with his mother, Princess Diana, were published. They come from 1993, when the Princess of Wales and her elder son, then 11, were visiting one of London's homeless shelters. The British heir to the throne admitted that it was his mother who showed him what life was like “outside the palace walls.”

Prince William: fighting homelessness is part of my role
In June 2023, the elder son of King Charles and Princess Diana launched the five-year “Homewards” project, which he said was inspired by Diana. It focuses on finding solutions to reduce the scale of homelessness.
