In the center of Brodnica (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship) a drunk man aimed from weapons to passers-by, and then fired a few shots. Earlier he was to threaten guests of one of the premises. The 54-year-old heard allegations. By court decision, he was arrested for two months.

On Sunday (May 18), police officers were received by the incident, which occurred in one of the premises in the city center. The information provided showed that “a man with a pistol in his hand” threatens people inside. After leaving the premises, on the street, he had – according to the application – to aim from the weapons to passers -by, and then give several shots.

– The aggressor was quickly overpowered, and the weapon he used, protected against access by other people. The initial opinion of the expert showed that the pistol used by the suspect was a bang weapon – told the junior aspirant Paweł Dominiak, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Brodnica.

The 54-year-old had over two alcohol per body in his body.

Allegations and arrest

He was detained and transported to police custody. He heard allegations of exposing a person to the immediate danger of losing his life or severe damage to health, punishable threats and a hooligan vice.

By court decision, he was arrested for two months. He faces up to three years in prison.
