Storms are accompanied by rainfall up to 30-60 l/sq m, hail and wind gusts to 80-100 km/h. It is also restless in the following voivodships: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Warmian-Masurian and Podlasie.

Tens of thousands of people without electricity

As reported by Piotr Błaszczyk from the Government Security Center, the storms deprived of electricity of 90,000. recipients – most, because 23 thousand in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, 21 thousand in Lower Silesia and 20,000 in Greater Poland. The most trips to remove the effects of storms were recorded in the West Pomeranian (495), Wielkopolskie (422), Silesian (415), Dolnośląskie (377), Opolskie (357) and Lubuskie (357) provinces.

A dangerous storm cell also appeared on the Jaworski Poviat. As informed by the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Venomthe most difficult situation prevails in the town of Wierzchosławice, where a very strong wind broke trees and ripped the roof from a residential building. Applications also flowed from the city of Jawor and from the town of Wądroże Wielkie, where local flooding was recorded.

Dangerously in Silesia and the Opole region

Violent storms also occurred in Silesia. On contact24 we received recordings from Katowice. Due to the extremely strong wind (gusts up to 125 km/h), the airport authorities in Pyrzowice informed about possible difficulties.

“Due to adverse weather conditions, start and landing delays may occur, as well as in the transport of passengers between aircraft and terminals,” said in a statement.
