From June, the Belgian carrier Brussels Airlines resumes flights between Warsaw and Brussels, Chopin Airport announced. It added that during the holidays flights will be operated 6 times a week, and from September it is planned to increase the frequency to 12 flights a week.
As Chopin Airport informed, the Belgian carrier Brussels Airlines returned to the airport after a pandemic break.
– It is a great pleasure for my team and for me that we can announce the resumption of Brussels Airlines flights between Warsaw and Brussels from June 1, 2023 with aircraft from the Airbus A320 family – said the general director of the Lufthansa Group for Poland and The czech republic Rene Koinzack.
Brussels Airlines returns to Chopin Airport
It was indicated that during the holiday period flights will be operated 6 times a week, and from the beginning of September it is planned to increase the frequency to 12 flights a week. The route is to be served by A319 and A320 aircraft, which are able to take on board between 140 and 180 passengers.
It was added that Brussels is in 12th place among the most popular destinations from the Warsaw airport. Over 95,000 passengers traveled to and from the Belgian capital in the first four months of this year.
